Josephine Blouse

Happy St. Patrick’s Day!  What better to show you than my new, bright green Josephine!  The pattern is from Made-By-Rae and the fabric is Savannah Glow in Mint, from Leah Duncan’s Meadow Line,  which I got from Pink Castle Fabrics.

I love this pattern!  I was lucky enough to be one of the testers for Rae, and made a simple blouse out of black broadcloth.  No joke – what a wearable muslin.  I wear it all the time, but with this never-ending winter I am definitely ready for BRIGHT COLORS!

I adore the elastic cinch back, which adds some waist definition, while allowing this top to be loose and comfortable.

    Very cute top!

  2. Your josephine blouse is so beautiful! Im a fan of pleated blouses. Did not notice that the blouse is garterized at the back not until I saw the back picture and it turned out to be so beautiful. What a great job!
