I’m honored to be a stop on The Appliqué Book by Casey York blog tour.
And I’m a contributor in the book, how cool is that?
I love how the photographed my project, Falling Leaves. This quilt utilizes a sew-and-turn applique technique. The book also has lots of projects featuring bias tape, raw edge, needle-turn, and so many more ways to applique!
I thought I’d show a little preview of a project I’m working on that uses the same technique I used for Falling Leaves.
It’s a cute little radish.

Applique is something that I haven’t tried much of….just a little here and there. Having said that I have been meaning to try my hand at reverse applique. Always looking for tips and tricks to help me learn something new

Cute raddish. I’ve been trying to figure out what to put on the back of a quilt for Eero. Dan always says rutabaga (“I’m hungry.” “Want a rutabaga?” or “Guess what dad.” “You found a rutabaga?”). It will be fun to have that there.
